In 1954 Master Stonemason, Alphonse Van den Kerkhof arrived from Belgium and began working his trade on a wide variety of residential and restoration projects in Vancouver. Son, Eric, joined his father in the stone masonry trade in 1969 to begin serving an extensive apprenticeship in all facets of stone construction and fabrication.
Adera Natural Stone Supply began in 1989 by Eric, who felt there was a need for a reliable source for good quality stone in Western Canada. Eric traveled extensively throughout North America forging relationships with quality quarries who to this day remain valued partners and friends.
Since 1999 Ryan Euverman has worked closely with Eric, helping to build the company to where it is today. In 2012 Ryan purchased the company and continues Eric’s legacy of honesty, reliability and supply of quality products.
